This is an intricate and distinctive Silver, Rose Cut Diamond and Ruby pendant necklace that is rare and hard to find! The pendant features a bird perched on an elaborate mount, with its wings partially spread, and holding a round rose cut Diamond in it's beak. It is set in Silver, with its beak and claws set in 9ct Yellow Gold. It also has a lovely pink Ruby set for its eye. The bird is embellished with a striking combination of Rose Cut Diamonds of various shapes and sizes arranged throughout its body. The mount also extends about the birds head with further elaborate curves. The curves come to an end in various styles. Some end with Rose Cut Diamonds set beautifully within the mount, while others end withde them dangling delicately. The setting is further enhanced by the exquisite millgrain detailing to many of its edges. As was customary in this style of pendant from this era, the back of the pendant is made of 9ct Yellow Gold.
